The campuses of the University of Michigan–Dearborn and Henry Ford College are located near the end of the Detroit Department of Transportation's (DDOT) Michigan 2 line, but there is no way for pedestrians to move safely from these campuses to the Fairlane Town Center bus stop to catch the Michigan bus, especially for people with disabilities, as there are no sidewalks. To help connect students and university workers to transit service, we demand that DDOT and the City of Dearborn work together to extend the Michigan 2 line up Evergreen to reach these two campuses.
