Countess of Arran, married to 6th Earl of Arran
Born Mathilde Jacqueline Marie Beauclerk Huyssen van Kattendijke (anglicised: Kattendyke), daughter of Frederik Johann Emanuel 3rd Baron Huyssen van Kattendijke, of The Hague and Mathilde Juliana Luby (who was the daughter of a Church of Ireland vicar). Born at Arnhem, The Netherlands.
Married Arthur Jocelyn Charles Gore, 6th Earl of Arran, KP, PC (14 September 1868 – 19 December 1958), known as Viscount Sudley from 1884 to 1901, Anglo-Irish peer and soldier.
They had two sons, Arthur Gore, 7th Earl of Arran (1903–1958) and Arthur Strange Kattendyke David Archibald Gore, 8th Earl of Arran (1910–1983). Married at Hambledon Church.
Maud died in 1927 aged 47; the earl married again.
