This contest is open to all City of Fairburn residents. Please register your home and/or nominate a neighbor early.
Registration deadline is December 27 at 11:59 pm
Rules
Please read these rules and instructions. If you have, any questions contact the City of Fairburn Economic Development Dept. 770-964-2244.
Participation is open to all residents within the City of Fairburn.
- Entry is free; no cost or fees apply.
- Entry submissions must be received electronically, no later than December 27, 2021.
- The contest is for exterior decorations only, including decorations in windows that are visible from the exterior.
- Participants agree to have one or more photos of their decorated residence exterior posted on the City of Fairburn website, social media pages, and/or published in the City of Fairburn newsletter. Participant agrees there will be no compensation of any kind for said posting or publication.
- Judging criteria will include
- Unique design and creative use of lights and decorations;
- Storyline or theme;
- Display and placement of decorations, animated objects, etc.; and
- Overall presentation.
- Three prizes will be awarded in each of the categories (Business and Residents): One-1st prize; one -2nd prize; one-3rd. Winners will also receive a yard sign and bragging rights.
- Winners will be announced, and pictures displayed online at fairburn.com, all social media outlets, and the City of Fairburn App.
- Winners will be notified by telephone and email.
