1Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles MoralesPS511/25/21Beat the gamePartialN/A8:22:35836This doesn't feel like a "full priced DLC" like some have said. Sure, the asking price is a little high for a roughly 9 hour game, but the storyline and voice acting more than sold it. Really other than everyone on earth learning Miles Morales is Spider-Man, it's a fantastic game that is a must play, but only if it's around $30-$40 at most.LinkLink

2Marvel's Guardians of the GalaxyXSX11/27/21Beat the gameYesN/A15:42:4010413The biggest surprise of 2021 and likely not only the best game I've played of 2021, but one of my all-time favorites. Well written, emotional and powerful storyline, script and voice acting with enjoyable gameplay, and one of the best soundtracks ever. MUST BUY, full price or whatever. An incredible journey from start to finish.LinkPart 1/7: Link

Beat Arcade Mode āœ“
NoN/A3:12:15733Man that story mode was a lot cheesier and crappier than I remembered. I enjoyed the game the first time I played it when it came out, and playing story mode for the first time since then, it aged poorly. Solid enough fighting engine, and it deserved a better fate than what it was dealt.LinkLink

4Final Fantasy VII RemakePS512/14/21Escape MidgarPartialN/A26:21:211073Absolutely phenomenal game. The final act was one of the best I've ever experienced in a game, from the fights to the audio. The only shortcomings came with the excessive padding and unplayable Red XIII. Otherwise this blows away the OG Final Fantasy VII in nearly every aspect. So damn good.LinkPart 1/5: Link

5Dead Rising 2: Case 0XSX12/25/21Beat the gamePartialN/A1:41:00750?We unintentionally got the bad ending lol. It was an ending though. The problem with Case 0 is the super strict time adherence that you need to follow. Otherwise it's a decent enough prelude to Dead Rising 2 (even though we're not playing the Chuck Greene one lol)LinkLink

6Dead Rising 2: Off the RecordXSX01/04/22Beat the gameNo12hr13:33:407715Again, we unintentionally got the bad ending. There's way too much time wasting here that I didn't remember from my playthrough years ago. It's still a lot of fun, but way too much emphasis on wasting time between missions. Getting the bad ending also pissed me off big time. Pick it up on sale, not full price.LinkPart 1/2: Link

7Dead Rising 2: Case WestXSX01/04/22Beat the gamePartial3hr2:19:45840This game didn't need to exist really. It was my favorite of the Dead Rising 2 trilogy by far, but it left more questions unasnwered than answering anything. If you're looking to play through the entire Dead Rising 2 saga, then yeah, play it. If you like the franchise, it's worth it I guess, but it just didn't need to exist.LinkLink

8Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of MystaraWii U01/04/22Beat the gameYes2hr1:09:418227I don't remember anything about this game, and I remember playing it. Maybe I played the other version, which I also thought was here but wasn't. Great beat em up game though nonetheless. Storyline, presentation and bonuses are above and beyond what you'd see from entries into this genre. Pick it up on sale for sure.LinkLink

9Marvel's Midnight SunsXSX12/10/22Beat the gameYes60hr52:28:001067I had to take a little time to really see how I felt after the ending. The ending its self left way too may questions unanswered and no closure for the most part. Everything before that was phenomenal. The way Firaxis handled the storyline and side stories, the way the gameplay was incredibly addicting, the game was an inside the park grand slam. The ending was mostly disappointing (other than the final moments) but I think the overall package was too damn amazing to let the ending drag it down for me.LinkPart 1/13: Link

10Star Wars: The Force UnleashedXSX/36012/11/22Beat the gameNo12hr6:59:508725Still a solid game even all these years later. The camera is still problematic at times, platforming is a bit too delicate to manage, and the second boss can go straight to hell. Happy to have replayed this, though mostly not looking forward to TFU2 next up (delayed).LinkLink

11Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII ReunionPS512/14/22Beat the gameYes35hr11:35:45526Sometimes certain games deserve a remake and not a remaster, and Crisis Core Reunion is just that. Too many aspects just didn't work on the PS5. Add to that a laughably easy difficulty and half the music not fitting at all, and you end up with an average, meddling remaster. The ending though...Jesus Christ did that hit me hard.LinkPart 1/2: Link

12The Outer WorldsXSX12/17/22Beat the gamePartial40hr11:40:005737I had no idea the playtime was *that* short. Mid at best overall. Great gameplay, excellent and witty writing that maybe saved this from being lower rated. The story did nothing to get me invested until the final scene, and it was too easy to brute force stuff with persuade, lock picks, etc. Not worth your time honestly, and it pains me saying that.LinkLink

13Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2XSX/36012/18/22Try not to be as disappointed this time
(Beat the game)
No5hr4:44:446712I tried not to be disappointed a second time around, and I actually wasn't. As much. Final battle was still trash tier, the brevity of the game and obvious missing content from being rushed was disappointing, but I enjoyed mostly all the rest. Exceptional looking game, much better platforming and combat. It didn't need to exist, but it does, and I'm glad I gave it another chance.LinkLink

14Grand Theft Auto IVXSX/36012/22/22Beat the gameNo40hr25:17:459840That final mission was utter dog cack. Outside that and way too many boring/frustrating follow/chase missions, I am so happy I replayed GTA4. Don't know why I was as disappointed with it as I was for all these years. After replaying it, I loved it. Fantastic journey, and my 3rd fav GTA game behind San Andreas and Vice City.LinkPart 1/3: Link

If you enjoy Bethesda RPG's (wacky bugs and all) and have a strong PC that can handle 60+fps and have Game Pass, check it out for sure. Strong mainline story that goes nuts in the third act. Ryujin side mission arc was fantastic. I recommend Game Pass for now and not paying $70. Wait til it's about $39-$49.LinkPart 1/10: Link

16Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom LibertyPC10/06/23Beat the expansionYes20hr11:54:30967Quite possibly the best expansion/DLC storyline I've had the pleasure of playing. The performances, set pieces, direction and everything having to do with storytelling was on a whole other tier. The only reason why it's 9 and not 10 is mostly the blah weapons and RPG/leveling aspects, and a little bit from Idris Elba sounding consipated half the time. Otherwise, GOAT status expansion/DLC.LinkPart 1/2: Link

17Marvel's Spider-Man RemasteredPS510/07/23Beat the gameNo25hr13:20:009635Crazy how short the main storyline is, yet it never feels like it's too short. Still as amazing as the first time I played through it. High production storytelling, voice work, set pieces and moments makes Marvel's Spider-Man one of the greatest superhero video games of all-time. Now bring me Spider-Man 2!LinkPart 1/2: Link

18Sleeping Dogs: Definitive EditionXSX10/17/23Beat the gameNo25hr10:35:409613Enjoyed the second time through, though not as much as the first. Very well done and well delivered main storyline that does take some fun twists in the second and third acts. Combat is still top quality, contexual kills were god tier. My only real big beef were vehicular controls being too loose or too stiff. Otherwise this is a must play, especially since it's always cheap!LinkPart 1/2: Link

19Marvel's Spider-Man 2PS510/28/23Beat the gameYes40hr18:12:309944Absolutely spectacular. Insomniac built off the first two games and created a superhero video game story for the ages. The only thing that stops me from giving it a 10 is several instances where the game bugged out and soctlocked me into a reloading of my checkpoint. Outside that, the story, gorgeous city, fantastic voice acting and top shelf set pieces makes Marvel's Spider-Man 2 one of the greatest superhero games ever!LinkPart 1/2: Link
