RESOURCESGUIDANCE | Emergency departments: initial assessmentThis guidance makes recommendations for models of initial assessment of patients arriving at emergency departments and provides standard definitions of the processes that classify as initial assessment: streaming, triage, and rapid assessment and treatment. RESOURCES | Best practice Urgent and Emergency Care Discharge materialsAs part of the 100 Day Discharge Challenge and as a result of feedback, a dedicated webpage is launched to support regions and systems in adopting what works around discharge to improve care for patients as systems prepare for winter. TOOLKIT | Agency RulesThe NHS England Temporary Staffing Team have published the Agency Rules toolkit on the FutureNHS Temporary Staffing hub. The toolkit supports Trusts to move toward a sustainable model of temporary staffing by reducing their agency expenditure in alignment with agency rules. It will enable Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) to further collaborate with providers to increase substantive staffing and bank usage.
