Nick Cave's Son Arthur, 15, Dies in Cliff Fall

Australian rocker Nick Cave's teenage son has died.

Arthur Cave, 15, died after falling from the Ovingdean Gap cliffs in Brighton, England, on Tuesday, Sussex police said in a statement.

"Our son Arthur died Tuesday evening," the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds frontman, 57, and his wife Susie Bick said in a statement. "He was our beautiful, happy, loving boy. We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this difficult time."

Per Sussex police, Arthur was found with life-threatening injuries at the Ovingdean Gap underpass Tuesday night at 6 p.m. and brought to the hospital, where he died of injuries sustained in the 60-ft. fall. His death is not considered suspicious.

In addition to his parents, Cave is survived by his twin brother, Earl, as well as two older half brothers, Jethro and Luke.
