What is PWR?
PWR is a fun reunion for returning students and an official welcome gathering for incoming freshman, transfer, and graduate students to the Pilipinx family at UCLA. With the goal of cultivating a community for Pilipinx-identifying students, this event - full of lively presentations, dance performances, delicious Filipino food, and networking - kicks off the academic year and paves way for the year-long journey we will take part in together as a community.

Where is PWR?
PWR will be at Ackerman Grand Ballroom, located on the 2nd floor of Ackerman Union. (308 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90024)

What is a P-org? 
A P-org is student-led organization/project specializing within a particular niche in the Pilipinx community at UCLA. 

Who are the P-orgs? 
There are 15 Pilipino student organizations (P-orgs) which include: 
Anakbayan at UCLA
Kabalikat Kore (KK)
Kappa Psi Epsilon (KPsiE)
Pilipino Recruitment and Enrichment Program (PREP)
Pilipino Transfer Student Partnership (PTSP)
Pilipinos for Community Health (PCH)
Pilipinos in Engineering and Science (PIES)
Pilipinx Living Learning Community (Pilipinx LLC)
Pilipinx Pre-Law Pipeline (3P)
Samahang Modern
Samahang Pilipino (SP)
Samahang Pilipino Advancing Community Empowerment (SPACE)

How to get to Ackerman Grand Ballroom:
From the Bruin Bear, enter Ackerman Union via UCLA Store or stair entrance and head to the second level using the elevators or stairs. If using elevators, ballroom entrance is on the right when you walk out.

(3) - Ackerman Meeting Rooms (Top Floor)
(2) - Ackerman Grand Ballroom [GO HERE!]
(1) - Ackerman Food Court
(A) - Ackerman Main Lobby (i.e., Textbook Store)
(B) - UCLA Store (Ground Floor)
