Advocating & Standing with Immigrant Students in the Midst of Injustice
In the midst of the proposal and emergence of new bills across the country that specifically target our immigrant communities in states such as Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and the list goes on, Daniela Rodriguez and I want to create a space to discuss how the proposal and possible approval of these bills can affect our immigrant students. Daniela also will share ideas on how we can advocate better for our students.

While the conversation will focus on what is happening in Georgia, the content will be relevant to all educators who have an interest for advocacy for these students.

This charla will take place on Wednesday, April 3rd at 7:30 PM Eastern Time via Zoom. You will receive a Zoom link by noon on Wednesday around 12 PM ET.
