Support the Reintroduction of the PHRA
On March 7th, 2021, the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police conducted joint operations in Calabarzon, killing nine activists. For organizing around labor, environmentalism, and the respect of human rights, nine people were met with state sanctioned murder by the security forces of the Philippines.
On the second anniversary of "Bloody Sunday", on March 7th, 2023, Representative Susan Wild reintroduced the Philippine Human Rights Act (PHRA). The Philippine Human Rights Act will pause all US security assistance to the Philippine National Police and the Armed Forces of the Philippines until basic human rights reforms are made.
Stand with Representative Susan Wild and the people of the Philippines, tell Congress that our money shouldn't go to human rights violators.
