Need a band to play for your event? Weddings, corporate events, small to medium-scale shows? Get in touch with us. We are more than happy to perform for you.

Sessionist

We provide individual musicians to play for your gig or show. Need a bassist? Keyboardist? Guitarist? Worry not; our musicians are experienced in sessioning for other bands that are short of musicians.

Bass Guitar Lesson

Meet Akid, a full-time bass guitar teacher. He joined Poptooth in late 2018 and has been playing for us ever since then. Akid is very proficient with the bass guitar, having learned how to play it all by himself. He excels in any genre and is an asset to any band. Don't be shy about approaching him as he is a very friendly person and is more than happy to share his knowledge with anyone.

Piano Lesson

Having learned how to play piano from Youtube tutorials and jamming with his friends at an adolescent age, Syafiq has grown into the idea of playing in a band with his keyboard, in particular, his Korg Kross that he first bought in 2017. If you're interested in playing keyboard with a band and not a traditional Mozart piano piece, then he might be the right person for you to learn from!

Drum Lesson

Wenhan is a Grade 8 drummer. A versatile and technical drummer that is capable of playing any genre. He is an active drummer for his church, playing for them every weekend. He joined Poptooth along with Howie a year later after the band was formed, essentially making us a 6-piece band. He has an easy-going personality and is very approachable. His favourite genre is pop music. Contact us now to not miss his intricated drumming style!

Guitar Lesson

Another Grade 8 guitarist. Hao Yee, better known by his nickname, Howie, is a lead guitarist for Poptooth. He does freelance work, teaching both acoustic and electric guitar lessons during his free time. He leads our band with his melodic guitar riffs and solos. His go-to genre is R&B and blues, and John Mayer is his idol.

Song Composing using Logic Pro X

Syafiq has been working with Logic Pro X since the band was formed in 2017 and also for his school projects. He uses the DAW mostly to compose and mix Poptooth's samples and song covers. In this program, you will learn how to use the DAW (beginner level) and compose music.

Guitar Servicing/Repair

Guitar needs to restring? Guitar pick-up not working? Dani, our instrument tech member, provides guitar servicing and repairs. He enjoys this mainly as a hobby and freelance work. A very practical, hands-on dude who likes to work with electronics.
