As the dust settles on our 25th Anniversary festival, we'd like to say a huge, HUGE thank you to everyone who made it such a special weekend.
And Oyé is blessed that a city like Liverpool exists – a city where a festival showcasing artists that a lot of the audience will be hearing for the first time, had its people embrace them like old friends. You – our Oyé family – have turned our little festival into something really quite special.
This year's festival weekend was proof that thousands and thousands of people from every background can come together in one place, with no trouble and no hostility. Thank you all for making this the biggest Oyé to date; and for a weekend full of love, harmony and truly amazing vibes.
We are Oyé.
Peace and Blessings,
Paul & The Oyé Team

Big Youth & The Upper Cut Band - 18th August
A man with a message, Big Youth arrived on the music scene in the wake of U-Roy, Dennis Alcapone and I-Roy, but quickly established his own unique style, threatening to eclipse them all.
