“Sons of Guns” star Stephanie Hayden fainted while taping an episode of “Dr. Phil.”
TMZ reports that the reality star taped an interview with the talk show host last week in which she discussed allegations that her father, William Hayden, raped her and her sister.
Moments after the 30-year-old concluded her interview, she reportedly collapsed into her husband’s arms and blacked out.
A call was immediately made to 911, but Stephanie regained consciousness by the time EMTs arrived, the site reports.
She is said to have been “stressed” from discussing the charges against her father, including disclosing details about his alleged abuse.
A preview for the episode, airing Thursday, shows Dr. Phil asking Stephanie whether she believes “there are other victims” besides her and her sister. The clip also says that the reality star will reveal “shocking new accusations” against the gun shop owner.
William Hayden’s 12-year-old daughter first came forward with claims of abuse, alleging that her father “orally and vaginally raped” her. Stephanie, who appeared with him on the Discovery Channel series as “Stephanie Hayden” but now goes by her husband’s last name, Ford, initially defended him, saying he “was and is a good father.”
But on Sunday, she withdrew her endorsement, and accused him of raping her when she was 12.
William Hayden’s attorney denied Stephanie’s claims, telling TMZ on Sunday that “after 45 shows and 20 years, this is the first I’ve heard of it.”
“Her complaints arose only after her income from the show and (gun) shop stopped. She’s still Will’s daughter and he loves her.”
At the time of his arrest in early August, Hayden, 44, claimed that the accusations against him were false and came from a scorned ex-girlfriend, his daughter’s mother, who went to police in retaliation for their breakup.
But weeks later, police arrested the Discovery Channel star on charges of aggravated rape of a child after the girl in question came forward with details.
His 12-year-old daughter told authorities she was raped “almost daily,” but kept quiet because he threatened her, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
“Sons of Guns” was quickly axed from the network in the wake of the charges brought against its star.
“Given the serious and horrific nature of the charges against Will Hayden, we have decided to halt further production of ‘Sons of Guns’ and cancel the series,” a Discovery Channel rep told TMZ on Aug. 27.
