U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is pleased to announce an “ACE Air Import Manifest”

webinar on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, from 1:30 P.M. – 3:00 P.M EDT. CBP invites all Air Automated Manifest System (AMS) participants to participate in this webinar, and reminds all impacted parties that the filing of all electronic manifests will be mandated in ACE as of May 1, 2015.

The focus of this webinar is to inform the trade community of the upcoming transition of legacy Air AMS functions into ACE. Along with the transition, there will be changes to business processes and the CBP Air Manifest Interface Requirements (CAMIR) documentation.

CBP plans to deploy Air AMS functionality into ACE on the January 3, 2015 release of Deployment D, and all electronic import (and export) manifests must be filed in ACE by May 1, 2015. CBP encourages adoption of these changes as early as possible, so Air AMS filers can be better prepared for the transition and take advantage of confirmed compliance ahead of the deadline.

Please REGISTER at the following location: http://www.surveyshare.com/s/AYAYCCA

Registration is limited to the first 1,000 participants. A confirmation and the URL to access the webinar will be provided once registration is completed.

Following the event, the recorded webinar and accompanying presentation slides will be posted to the “ACE Outreach Events for Trade” page of CBP.gov/ACE.

For further information on the ACE Air AMS changes with the Deployment D – January Release, please review the full Information Notice Article posted to the "What's New with ACE?" section of the "ACE and Automated Systems" page of CBP.gov/ACE.
