Frankfort and two other Will County towns have received a grant to promote tourism. It is the second grant Frankfort, Lemont and Orland Park have received from the Chicago Southland Convention and Visitors Bureau in two years.

This year, the three communities will share $4,172 in grant money. Last year, the total was $6,250. Ed Gramza, a member of the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, said the villages used the money last year to place ads in regional travel publications.

Gramza said the money this year will be used to send followup letters to prospective visitors who inquired last year about the Frankfort, Lemont and Orland Park chambers.
