Thick, opaque tights and socks are in — for now. But this trend has been hot for a couple of seasons now, which probably means it’ll be over soon. Maybe before this goes to press.
Anyway, it’s a look we like, and we’re all for continuing to take part — as long as we don’t have to spend a bunch of money. Which is where Spanx comes in.
Spanx (spanx.com) has launched a line of reversible tights and trouser socks — black on one side, another color/pattern on the other. The tights are $32 a pair and come in black/brown or black/midnight blue. The socks are $12 a pair and come in nine variations, including black/brown pinstripe and black/gray crosshatch.
Brilliant! Two pairs of tights/socks for the price of one. And Spanx are famously durable, so they’re sure to last until the trend comes back into vogue a few seasons from now.
