“High School Musical” star Zac Efron needed a bit more than a high school clinic Tuesday.
The “Hairspray” hottie was rushed to the hospital after his appendix burst. “He had his appendix removed and is recuperating,” his rep told tmz.com.
Separately, Disney confirmed that all six major “High School Musical” stars will be back for “HSM3: Senior Year,” zap2it.com reports. Efron, his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel will be back, it was announced Monday, prompting director/choreographer Kenny Ortega to declare, “I am the luckiest guy in the world and I know it.”
