With completion of Lisle’s new Village Hall expected in approximately four months, officials have bought a telephone system for the facility.

The Village Board has approved a measure to pay Colorado-based Expanets Inc. $158,226 for the system.

“I think the phone system will well serve the village and will meet the needs of the departments,” Mary Lou Kalsted, the village’s management analyst, told trustees Monday.

The village also paid Chicago-based Indaplex Inc. approximately $31,900 for consulting services regarding the system, Kalsted said.

The system will last five to seven years, at which time it may need an update, Kalsted said.

In June village officials hope to move into the facility, located east of the existing Village Hall on Burlington Avenue.
