Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill announced April 23 that they are expecting their first child at the end of summer, via gestational surrogate.
The couple, who co-owns RPM Italian in Chicago, has had public battle with In Vitro Fertilization, which has been documented for multiple seasons on their reality telvision show “Giuliana and Bill” on the Style Network. Giuliana has also undergone a public battle with breast cancer.
They announced the pregnancy in a statement to E!, where Giuliana works as a commentator, saying:
“We are so thrilled that our prayers have been answered. We are absolutely ecstatic to be sharing this with everyone who has been following our journey.”
