Osaka Film Night will present “Face,” directed by Junji Sakamoto, as its annual screening event on Wednesday. The 2000 film received many Japanese awards, including best picture. The City of Osaka Chicago Office (along with the Consulate General of Japan and Sister Cities International Programs) elected this year to feature “Face,” about an enraged woman who kills her sister and, after fleeing, redeems herself by caring about some newfound friends. The free, subtitled film will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Japan Information Center, 737 N. Michigan Ave. Call 312-832-6000 for reservations.
