The Riverside Golf Club was the setting for a pre-wedding reception Dec. 27 for Dawn Lynne Bouzeos and Rev. Kirk Allen McCormick. The couple will be married Jan. 30 in Newport Beach, Calif.
Dawn is the daughter of Philip and Lynne Bouzeos of Oak Brook. Her fiance`s parents are Jay and Ida McCormick of Fullerton, Calif.
The future bride`s father, a salesman for Champion Products Inc., and her mother recently announced the couples` engagement. More than 150 friends and relatives attended the country club reception marking the announcement and celebrating the couple`s approaching marriage.
A former sports broadcaster for KNTV, San Jose, Calif., Dawn, 29, in 1985 earned a bachelor of science degree in journalism with honors from Northwestern University. She is manager of corporate communications for The Irvine Co., Newport Beach.
Her fiance, a 1981 graduate of California State University at Fullerton, received a master of divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, Calif. His father is a civil engineer for McDonnell Douglas, Long Beach, Calif.
The future bridegroom is a pastor of St. Andrew`s Presbyterian Church, Newport Beach, where the nuptials and reception will take place.
Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple will live in Costa Mesa, Calif.
