Clitus A. Moorehead, Sr. OBITUARY

Clitus Aubrey Moorehead, Sr. age 83, “The Cableman” transitioned peacefully at his home January 13, 2024 with his wife at his side. Clitus was born to Robert and Ellen Moorehead March 18, 1940 in Dayton, OH. He became ill in 2000 and retired from A T & T as a Technical Supervisor. Clitus was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church under Rev. Charles L. Emery and Assistant Pastor Rev. Carlton Lewis. He also was a member of Most Worshipful King Solomon Grand Lodge. Clitus is preceded in death by his parents, 8 siblings; the mother of his children and grandson Montel Cade. He is survived by wife Dorothy Moorehead; 5 children Gregory Moorehead, Sonia (Garry) Lenoir, Clitus A. Moorehead, Jr., Monica (Damon) Woods and Tammy Abercrombie; 27 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Visitation Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 12-8:00p.m. Funeral service Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11:00a.m. All services at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.
