It’s time for the name game again. Call it the Dilemma of the Aughts. Or the Ohs. Or the Oh-ohs.
In this short-cut, quick-speak world, how does one abbreviate 2003? One suggestion, offered as the “buzzword of the day” on www.buzzwhack.com, is 2K3.
Touting 2K3, the Web site says it’s “the cool way of saying 2003. While 2K1 and 2K2 struggled to make it into the mainstream, 2K3 is the hottest term since Y2K.”
Right. Rolls right off the tongue, doesn’t it?
