I would just like to make a formal apology for my behaviour on here the past
few days.

I admit I was wrong to post the binaries to this newsgroup prior to reading
the charter and should`ve admitted this in the first place.

After posting the binaries I admit I was wrong to harass the good people of
this newsgroup, with my vicious verbal attacks on Mr Richard Huelin a person
with whom I hold no personal grudge.

I will never post binaries to this newsgroup again, I now realise the
seriousness of this and immense upset this causes.

Please accept my apologies Mr Huelin and others.

P.S. I actually think the Palm is quite good ;)

Having read the posts in question I would say that it is too late for
apologies. The people in question will have to be very big hearted to
forgive such puerile and boorish behaviour and such unwarranted language.

Rog and Ang are so right - this is a neglected ng and one can see why

At the end of the day all I did was post some binaries in good faith then I
was told in no uncertain terms I needed to "get a clue and desist" I was
also sent an rude and abusive e-mail by another user.

You might not find that highly offensive but I certainly did.

If he had told me in a polite way I had in fact broken the rules of USENET I
would`ve been much more co-operactive in the first place.

That said I went over way over the top and I`m sorry about using such
offensive language but you`ll hear worse things on TV.

I also think Mr Huelin should apoligise for offending me too, but I doubt
I`ll get one.

In my opinion whenever you try to justify your actions after an apology its
as good as withdrawing the apology
And what impression does it give to your apology when in your next post
your telling us who else should say sorry.
Apologise by all means, but do it because you want to, believe you need to
and/or are genuinely remorseful NOT because you will get sympathy or make
some kind of on line friendship

what a load of boll***
who are these 'ng police' that make life hell for unsuspecting users?
You should get a life, there are more important things in life than
harrassing someone who dares to post a so called 'binary post'.
Technically you are wrong as it's all uucode or whatever the system
is, all text.
I agree with one comment, no wonder this ng is so quiet with you
bigots about. Maybe it's significant you all seem to come from Jersey
?

There is nothing like informed comment, and the above is a
prime example of nothing like informed comment. You appear
to be living in that virtual reality I keep hearing about.

matching the last lot posted in this group.
