"It's not the destination that matters but the journey and who we become along the way."

This book takes the reader on six similar but different journeys, where the co-authors give their perspective on walking in faith through the good times and the challenges.

The concept of this book was born in early 2020 prior to the global COVID-19 pandemic and through unique stories of adversity and struggles, the authors inspire hope in a God who is faithful no matter what the circumstances.

Whether you are a believer or on the fence, we trust that this book will encourage you on your own journey of faith or would make a great gift to someone who needs hope and inspiration in their journey of faith.

If you are visiting this page, chances are you have met or heard of the daughter and father team, Amy (Nhan) Leong and Nathan Nhan who co-ordered the chapter, "Pivotal moments of grace".

A little bit about two of the co-authors, Amy (Nhan) Leong and Nathan Nhan:

AMY LEONG:
Amy is a lawyer by day but a creative always. Inheriting entrepreneurship from her grandparents, a few years into her legal career, Amy started to build a creative business on the side. Whilst it was something she was passionate about, she reached a crossroads in September 2019.

In what can be described as a “lightbulb moment”, Amy realised that in pursuing her career and her passions, she had neglected other important things like her physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

This started her on a journey towards a more holistic approach to life which has been transformative, re-learning how to BURN BRIGHT but not burn out.

Now her mission is to empower women to THRIVE and not just survive so that they can also live a life full of purpose, joy and delight.

You can find her via her podcast, Live Life Well: The Podcast available on Apple Podcasts / Spotify or connect with her via Instagram at @_amyleong_.

NATHAN NHAN:
In the midst of challenging life circumstances, Nathan came to know the Lord before escaping his home country of Vietnam by boat. Whilst on board, he experienced a miracle where the Lord answered his prayer and stopped life-threatening waves and storms, saving his life and the lives of the other passengers at sea.

Nathan committed his life to serving the Lord and has been serving as an ordained church minister in Melbourne, Australia for over 30 years. After serving in the Vietnamese-speaking church community for over 20 years, the Lord moved Nathan and his family to serve the Chinese-speaking communities in Melbourne. He now pastors the congregation at Melbourne Chinese Church of Christ, currently based in Carlton.

Nathan has also travelled to South East Asia on many occasions to encourage and minister to the local church congregations and to provide training and resources to their pastoral teams.
