Enjoy the Sounds of the Middlebury College Choir!

Come hear the Middlebury Choir on March 10th!

Come hear the Middlebury College Choir, under the direction of Ronnie Romano, perform a selection of secular and sacred works for mixed voices a cappella and with piano. Composers include Arvo Pärt, Palestrina, Vince Peterson, Ed Thompson, and Herbert Howells. The concert will be held on Friday, March 10th at 7:00 p.m. and will also feature small chamber music duos and trios, comprised of College Choir singers and other Middlebury students. It will be a lovely evening of music in many contrasting styles. Admission by donation.


About Ronnie Romano, All Souls Music Director:

Ronnie Romano is a versatile musician based in Vermont who works throughout the Northeast as a pianist, organist, conductor, and educator. Primarily focused on choral music and community building, he serves as Director of Music at All Souls Interfaith Gathering (Shelburne, VT) and the Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Society (Middlebury, VT). This fall, he joined the Middlebury College Music Faculty as an adjunct professor to serve a one year appointment as Interim Director of the Middlebury College Choir.

In addition to his church and teaching work, Ronnie is also a seasoned conductor and music director of musical theater. Ronnie has also served as a regular guest pianist with the Opera Company of Middlebury, with whom he performed live on Vermont Public Radio this past spring. Since 2017, he has been the Administrator of The Choral Chameleon Institute for Composers and Conductors where he mentors emerging composers and conductors and teaches Ear Training. He now serves as Director of Education for Choral Chameleon.
