Pulled Stitches - Diamond Eyelet
Work this eyelet in the shape of a Diamond, by bringing your needle up on the outside, and then down into the center of the stitch. It is most effective if a thin fiber is used, as many stitches occupy the same area. These Diamond Eyelets are not stitched one at a time, but in two journeys. Start by doing all the bottom halves, and then do the top halves on your return journey. Note: the last stitch of the half diamond eyelet, is left undone on the first journey, so it can be worked as part of the second journey.
