The Comedy Works Bristol (located inside Georgine’s Restaurant) presents a double headliner Friday Night “Comedy Fun” show August 19, 2022 at 8 PM. The show will feature Bill Chiang and Norm Klar with a special guest Comedian.
Bill Chiang, who holds a PHD from Princeton and works as a business development professional in the high tech medical industry during the day, while at night, he is performing his comedy set at Comedy Clubs up and down the East Coast.
Bill is a Comedy Competition Winner in NYC, he has been featured on Comcast On-Demand and performs regularly in historic comedy venues such as “The New York Comedy Club”, “The Comic Strip” and “Catch A Rising Star” in Princeton, NJ.
On stage, Bill talks about the traditional Asian stereotypes by making people laugh with him at the absurdity & silliness of everyday life. He has unique views on relationships, TV and stories about growing up as an Asian Immigrant in NYC.
Norm Klar is the comedian that everyone enjoys because he will make you laugh with his combination of magic, puns, jokes and slapstick humor that is simple and funny.
Regarded by most magicians as a charlatan of the craft they often refer to him as "the man who does to magic what Joan Rivers did for Plastic Surgery".
From screamingly funny to strangely macabre sit back and take the ride with Norm as he blasts his way through what many of his peers say is one of the best all-around comedy acts that is clean and very funny.
Norm has played all over the region at many Comedy Clubs, private events and fundraisers.
Norm often tours with Joe Conklin throughout the Philadelphia region and recently was with Leon Redbone at the Sellersville Theater. He has been an opening act over the years for the likes of Tim Allen, Rosie O'Donnell and the late great Mr. Soupy Sales.
Also appearing will be a special guest MC/Host to start the show.
