The Nikon Z8 camera was in stock everywhere just a few weeks ago and then the service advisories/recalls came in. I was told that the entire Z8 inventory has been sent back to Nikon for repair – the camera is currently back-ordered/out of stock at most (all?) retailers:
- Adorama: on backorder
- B&H Photo: on backorder
- Paul’s Photo: out of stock
- Amazon: fastest delivery is September 19 if you order today
- CameraCanada: on order
- Calumet: 1-3 months wait time
- Foto Koch: 1-3 months wait time
- Jessops: estimated arrival in August 2023
The first batch of issue-free Nikon Z8 cameras should arrive in the next week or so. I will try to confirm this again with retailers. I am sure many people are ready to buy the Z8 but want to make sure all the issues are addressed. Stay tuned!
