2022-2023 PTIA Donation Form

The results for 2022 are in and International Academy has once again been voted as one of the best high schools in the country - #3 in Michigan and #52 nationally!  The PTIA is committed to nurturing and growing this excellence by strengthening the partnership between students, parents, teachers, and administration of IA East.   

We no longer ask for your PTIA membership annually instead we simply ask for annual donations as our goals are to serve every student / teacher / staff / family in the IAE community.   

Your ANNUAL donations to the PTIA provide the critical funding for annual budgeted popular student events, funding for teacher grants & support for curriculum goals / senior gifts (a personalized blanket for every senior every year) / various scholarship essay programs and capital / equipment renovations not funded by other sources.  

You can read more about where we spend dollars raised on our website.  Every dollar gets invested back to benefit the school and makes a difference!  The suggested giving range starts at $35 per family, to reach our original goal of $12K this year, however at a minimum we need to raise another $3000 by the end of June to recover funded programs already.   We've raised $4333 as of 2/28/2023.

PTIA is a 501(c)3 and your donation is tax deductible to the extent it is allowed by law.   Donation receipts for the year will be sent out by email (to the email you provide in this form) by January 31st 2023).

Only one form is required per family. Please indicate if you have more than one IA student.

Some ways that PTIA Funds get used:
Payment can be made in the following ways:
1. Check: Please make checks payable to: 'PTIA East'. Write ‘PTIA Donation’ in the memo. Checks can be dropped off in the office or mailed to the school
2. Cash: Please write your family name/child name on the envelope, mention 'For PTIA Donation', and drop it off in the PTIA mailbox in the school office
3. PayPal: Go to  https://www.paypal.com/ paypal.me/ptiaeast  Please indicate 'PTIA Donation' and family/child name in the notes field
