This class is for those with and without racket experience whether it be tennis or pickleball, but will be divided into groups based on experience. Those who have played and those without any knowledge of pickleball are welcome.
Beginner and intermediate classes are being offered on February 4 at Thames Elementary School. Rain out make up date will be February 11.
Beginner class 9-11am (In 2 hours I hope to be able to teach scoring and game play, any less than that and it's too difficult)
Intermediate class 11:15-12:30pm (Just over an hour will give us the extra time to practice)
Beginner class description:
Beginner pickleball is for everyone. No experience necessary. This class will cover the basics of game play and scoring. Please wear comfortable clothing. Tennis shoes preferred. Please bring a paddle if you have one. Balls provided.
Intermediate class description:
This class is for those who know how to score and have some previous play experience. Basic technique will be covered to include the grip, stance, forehand/backhand volley/dink, serve/return, and transition. Please wear comfortable clothing. Tennis shoes preferred. Please bring a paddle if you have one. Balls provided.
Filling out the following application does not guarantee a spot in the class. Spots are available on a first come, first serve basis, are limited, and tend to fill up quickly. An email or text will be sent to confirm your spot and provide more details about the class.
