We’re tracking the U.S. Congress to make our government more open and accessible.
Ask Us Anything, and a GovTrack Survey

Have you noticed that we use a lot of jargon? Sometimes we get caught up in what we're reporting on and forget to explain what we're talking about. Here's a chance to tell us if we dropped the ball in explaining something about Congress, or what else you want to learn about.

Let's get some of your questions about Congress answered. Ask us anything by filling out this form about how Congress works, what we do at GovTrack, or anything else that you think we can help with. Some ideas are "How do Congress's ethics committees work?", "What are 'appropriations', again?", or "When is the right time to contact my legislator?" We'll try to answer your questions in a future update posted here.

We also want to hear about how GovTrack can serve you better. Follow the survey link to answer some survey questions from us about what else GovTrack can do to help you stay informed and be the best advocate for issues you care about. We have some ideas on the form. You can also send us yours.

Once again, this is the link to ask us a question or tell us what else we can do for you!
