Plan, evaluate and implement product development and quality assurance activities of Textile Chemicals and Adhesive products as per quality polices, standards, procedures and practice to diversify the product line and ensure the quality of products resulting customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
To plan and execute the design & development activities of Adhesive & Textile products.
To evaluate and implement Product Quality Management system to ensure quality product as per set specification.
To evaluate the raw materials, packaging materials, process sample and finished products of all Emulsion, Adhesive & Textile products.
To analyze shelf life expired and slow/non-moving raw materials, deviated production batches, accidentally damaged products and execute consumption by providing use-up/re-process instruction with Management.
To review the products specification, raw materials specification, test method, material safety data sheet and technical data sheet of Adhesive & Textile Chemicals.
To plan and implement scale-up/trial production of new developed Adhesive & Textile products for process validation & product standardization by communicating with cross functional department.
To monitor storage condition of hazardous materials: Monomers, crosslinking agent etc.
To monitor the cleaning & sanitization process of all products of Emulsion plant.
To evaluate and analyze of any deviation in product/ process and investigate the causes linked to analysis methodology, production process and raw materials to provide creative solutions.
To ensure the operation, calibration and standardization of all measuring and test instrument of Emulsion lab and production unit as per ISO 9001.
To review & evaluate all required Standards & documents as per ISO norms. Manage and preserve the documents of project works by following the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 27001.
Requirements:
M.Sc in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Polymer Chemistry from a well reputed university.
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in design and development of Adhesive & Textile Chemicals or Quality Assurance activities.
Knowledge on different types of Adhesive (Water & Solvent borne) or Textile Chemicals (Binder, Pigment dispersion, White Paste) will be an added advantage.
