Application Criteria

  • To be eligible, applicants must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree. This means that the applicant must be a full-time student at a recognized university and must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program.
  • Applicant 45 at the time of application. This means that the applicant must be under the age of 45 on the date that they submit their application.
  • Only applicants with a valid admission offer letter or letters from at least one (1) Malaysian university may apply. This means that the applicant must have been accepted into a master’s degree program at a Malaysian university in order to be eligible for the scholarship.

    • A valid admission offer letter from a Malaysian university.
    • Copy of your bachelor’s degree transcript.
    • Copy of your bachelor’s degree certificate.
    • A letter of recommendation from your academic advisor.
    • A statement of purpose explaining why you are interested in the scholarship and how you will use it to contribute to the development of your home country.
    • A copy of your passport.
  4. The application fee is RM50 (approximately US$12).
