Re-Think Your Job Search

Sage Metro DC will host an employment workshop on Monday, April 28 at 6:30 p.m. at The Residences at Thomas Circle, 1330 Thomas Circle, NW.  Donna Satterthwaite, Director, Employment Services at Senior Service America, Inc. shares some ideas on how to refresh your job search practices.   She will discuss the following and answer your questions:

  • Resumes:  Chronological, Functional, Hybrid, oh my!
  • What does my email address say about me?
  • Should I really use social media in my job search?
  • What if I’m “Googled” and it’s obvious I’m LGBT?
  • How can a parking meter derail my interview?
  • Does interview preparation really make a difference
  • How can I prepare for a Behavioral Interview?  What is that anyway?
  • Is a thank-you note only about good manners?

Reservations are not required; however, please RSVP to sagemetrodc1@gmail.com  to ensure enough refreshments are available.
