We are honored that Holy Nativity School is hosting this Project Learning Tree Workshop facilitated by the Division of Forestry and Wildlife! All the curriculum we will share is correlated to Common Core State Standards and facilitators Stephanie Ericksen and Michelle Jones tie the activities to place and culture - ensuring relevance to students.

We will be joined by Christy Martin of the Coordinating Group on Alien Pest Species. She will teach a lesson on the Little Fire Ant - specifically how students can be engaged in critical thinking and service learning through this citizen science project.
