Austin Windshields

I had a rock hit my windshield Sunday evening and leave a mark and by Monday morning it was an 18-inch crack. My insurance company gave me Austin Windshields' number yesterday and I called this morning. They showed up by 10am and it was replaced by 11:30. Excellent work, very friendly dispatcher on the phone and friendly technician who came to my house, and fast turn around. I would call them again and recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. Thanks!

Long story short, I had previously been scheduled with another company who was becoming more and more disorganized. I called these folks just before noon and was told to expect a follow up call shortly. They were here at my office just after 2 PM and done in about 20 minutes.

The work was done correctly and the rock chip is barely visible now. They're on the high side of the price range for a rock chip repair, BUT you get excellent service and none of the hassle of that certain nationwide chain that every car insurer refers everyone to.

Local. Excellent service. Superior workmanship. What's not to give five stars for?

Austin Windshields replaced the windshield on my Subaru Forester last week. I got an appointment within 4 days of calling. They seamlessly worked with my insurance company. The tech arrived on time and finished the installation sooner than he estimated. About 10 minutes later another technician arrived to recalibrate the EyeSight feature which took much less than an hour. The windshield looks great, no more crack. And registration, oil and toll road stickers are back in their usual places.

Decided to remove my feedback but they keep calling and texting us by message over and over again , we already replaced our windshield and we not longer need the services , good thing they responded fast and asked my vehicle vin number , please remove our number and personal information from your data we Don't need your service

The team did a great job. Was very responsive and communicative. That's what I appreciate the most was text and phone calls. They just kept me up to speed. Would have been easier if just one person, but really who cares they know how to pick up a phone. They worked with my insurance and came to my house. Work was done maybe in 1.5 hours top. They worked with me on schedule around the crazy weather. Ran into a bit of snafu with wrong class size, but they were super apologetic and ended up getting it done same day anyway. Most importantly they communicated and kept me up to date on it. Would recommend for sure.

The auto windshield was replaced in my Highlander. A perfect job was completed & the car was left without a trace of dirt, or glue, etc!!! A perfect job at a good price! No inconvenience at all! Five stars for the installer (super nice and professional), but minus two stars for failing to be on time and not communicating about the delay.

We were given a time window of 10a-4p with the promise to call when they were on their way (30 min ahead of arrival). By 2p we had not heard from anyone, so we called and were told that the installer had a full schedule that day but would be there within the promised time frame or they would call us back. No call back, and didn't hear from the installer until almost 5p.

I understand busy days, but you've got to communicate. Be upfront with your customers and set realistic timeframe expectations. It is unfair to your customers to not give realistic time frames, and it's also unfair to your installers who then get to deal with frustrated customers.

You guys can do better here.

This is quite possibly the best windshield repair company in Austin. They have amazing customer service and were incredibly fast. I would recommend them without reservation!

I had a great experience! I got an appointment the very next day to come to my office and replace the windshield. They called me to let me know they will be there in about an hour, they showed up on time, quickly and neatly replaced it, no mess & really affordable pricing compared to others near Austin. I will must definitely recommend Austin Windshields to everyone I know. Btw, sorry for taking about 4 months to post my review.
