i have always had electric cars and trucks from Traxxas and they are a blast. But this nitro version of the Slayer is awesome . Easy to break in , easy to maintain for storage,comes with everything you need except for fuel it is ready to go . No upgrades needed here this is a full package deal ,just add fuel ,go through the break in process which is easy and in no time you are going 50 to 55 mph . YOu will not go wrong with this purchase , and the price is reasonable . The only thing I was disappointed in is the fact that Traxxas only has 1 style of rims and tires. But I am sure they are working on that other than that it is a great product. Regards, Marcell.
I have 3 traxxas trucks this one looks like the best one yet. Its to cold to break in a nitro truck where I live n.e. ohio I will write a better review after I run it. I can say just by looking at it that its built well good quality. looks tuff.

Awesome little truck. It is very fast, but flips easily. This truck is not for beginners. It has all the benefits of a for wheel drive, the only draw back I can find is how easy it is to turn over. If you are looking for a good truck, this is it. It has the Revo chassis with it's suspension, which makes it slightly top heavy due to it's narrow stance. I'm at 5280 feet and it still runs great.

Love the car. Its incredibly fast for what it is and everything works correctly. Pretty reliable for a nitro too. Stock wheels and tires arent that great and the 14MM hubs are a horrible idea because it makes it very hard to find different wheels that fit it, but its possible. Overall great truck i love mine and would definitely recommend it to anyone that's into rc cars!
