Sandyford Business District European Elections MEP Panel Discussion - April 17th
|
|
Join us on Wednesday April 17th for Sandyford Business District's European Elections MEP candidate panel discussion taking place from 12pm - 1:30pm, hosted in Dynamic Space, 60 Holly Avenue, A94X4P0.
Joining our panel discussion will be European Parliament candidates for Dublin: Regina Doherty (Fine Gael), Sinead Gibney (Social Democrats), Aodhán Ó Ríordáin (Labour), Daithí Doolan (Sinn Féin), and Ciarán Cuffe (Green Party).
The discussion will focus on relevant EU issues pertaining to Sandyford Business District, including mobility and transport, infrastructure, sustainability, the digital transition, and competitiveness.
Sandyford Business District is delighted to have been involved with a number of schemes at European level, including the EU-funded CircularPSP project and the EU-led IB-Green project.
Your participation in this event would be immensely valuable as we navigate the future of our business district within a European context.

The Sandyford 5K is returning to Sandyford Business District on May 9th at 7:30pm! Registration is now open!
This year, we’re thrilled to introduce a brand-new addition to the race – the 600m Children’s Race! It’s a fun-filled event for the whole family, with adult tickets priced at €25, child tickets at €5, and team registrations available for €95. All entrants will receive a commemorative medal, and adult participants will get a vibrant technical race t-shirt to wear on the day.
After the race, join us at Race HQ located at Dynamic Space on 60 Holly Avenue, where the excitement continues with a post-race get-together! Celebrate and enjoy well-deserved refreshments with fellow participants, as the prize-giving ceremony takes place.
Whether you’re running solo, with your colleagues in a team of four, or cheering on your little ones in the Children’s Race, the Sandyford 5K promises an unforgettable evening of community, fitness, and fun. Sign up today and be part of the excitement!

Our registration day took place yesterday in a number of businesses in the District. We had an impressive turnout of eager participants which was great to see, reflecting a genuine eagerness to engage and be part of something meaningful.
The positive energy and lively interactions throughout the day made it clear that we're off to a fantastic start, and we're looking forward to an exciting walk on May 11th with all those who signed up for this worthy cause.

IMI Masterclass: Human-AI Interaction - Complimentary tickets
|

IMI is running a masterclass on Tuesday April 23rd
"Risks and Opportunities for the Human-AI Age" with Tomas Chamorro – Premuzic, a world leading authority on the age of Human - AI interaction.
It promises to be an excellent event and IMI has 8 complimentary tickets for us to offer businesses here in the District.
These tickets are 1 per company and based on a first come first served basis.

New Ministerial appointments in the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment
|
|
Longford-Westmeath TD Peter Burke has been appointed as the new Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, as part of Taoiseach Simon Harris’ cabinet reshuffling on Tuesday. He replaces Simon Coveney TD in the position, who stepped down from the cabinet following Leo Varadkar’s resignation last month.
Dublin Midwest TD Emer Higgins has been appointed as Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail, replacing Dublin Rathdown TD Neale Richmond in the role. Deputy Richmond will now serve in the Department of Finance as a Minister of State with responsibility for Financial Services, Credit Unions and Insurance.
Given there was no reshuffling of positions for Ministers and junior Ministers within the Fianna Fáil and Green Party sides of the coalition, Dara Calleary TD remains in place as Minister of State with responsibility for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation.
