NLB Tamil Language Services' Young Writers Circle talents will be adapting original Singaporean Tamil poetry of poets KTM Iqbal and Latha along with Carnatic ragas with guitarist Isuru Wijesoma and singer Chaitanyasre Lenin in the event "Kural" (Voice) on May 2nd, 7-9pm This performance will be a mash up of a modern take of Singaporean Tamil poems along with strong vocals and tunes performed by poets Premika, Suganiah, Priya and Harini. The last 15 mins of the event will be open to audience members to perform one of their original pieces and win singlit vouchers.
