SURAT : Diamataires in Antwerp including Indians are under the scanner following the arrest of Serge Muller, an Antwerp diamantaire, who is arrested by the Yugoslav Republic of Montenegro following an international arrest warrant issued by the Antwerp court for his involvement in international trade in cocaine, laundering of drug money and membership of a criminal organization.

As per the reports in Antwerp media, Serge Muller, is the CEO of the Antwerp diamond company Rex Mining. He was arrested by Montenegro police on March 4 and was extradited to Antwerp based on the international warrant issued by the Antwerp court. The investigation against Serge Muller began in 2011. Muller is among more suspected cocaine shipments from South America and Antwerp, to a value of $5 million dollars, organized and financed. Muller contacts are maintained at the highest level of organized crime. The diamond industry in Antwerp and India is shocked over the arrest of Muller and his involvement in the drug trafficking.
