Each year, nearly a million people die from suicide around the world. As a global organization, supporting opportunities around the world, KSI feels this is an issue that needs to be addressed. Alongside daily support to our members, KSI will be doing special events throughout May-June 2017 to acknowledge and support suicide prevention.

- A 48-hour stream to raise $2,500 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on June 10th

- A tribute by our military members

- Personal stories highlighting how people have overcome their struggle with suicidal thoughts

- ...and more.

Established in 1987, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death.

Being based on a militaristic structure, KSI whole-heartedly supports the men and women of the armed services in their respective countries. In 2014, a U.S. Navy studied confirmed that at least 20 veterans a day committed suicide. Brothers and sisters-in-arms stand together to support Got Your Six and other veteran mental health support programs.

KSI Global Gaming Network is the result of several people who played together and decided to start a gaming community, which turned into the largest community on Xbox, as well as setting the foundation for many others. Dedicated to bridging age gaps between youth and older players, KSI focuses on building leaders for every age group to reinforce real life work ethics, build skills, and develop goal oriented lifestyles. The global reach of KSI is limitless, providing opportunities and support to any member, regardless of their country.

The KSI community has helped thousands of gamers around the world, and we are committed to furthering that goal.

Our wonderful Twitch Team will be streaming different games throughout the support stream, showcasing a couple of tournament rounds, our newly revived all-girls group Sirens, and the various divisions found in KSI. All $2,500 and any extra donations will go directly to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention via a secure link. Donations will be accepted from the time of this article posting until the end of the stream, though any foundation can always use continued support.
