Welcome to Revamped Special Rooms! This is a mod that improves the gameplay by adding 1k rooms and balancing every special room. There's also QoL changes and some new aesthetics.

Compatibility:

• Treasure rooms are compatible with Co-op Treasure Rooms mod.
  
• Crawl spaces are compatible with Dad's Key Synergy mod.
  
• It's incompatible with mods which change special rooms. The only exception are for the mods that don't replace anything.
  
• Mods which change greed mode are partially compatible.
  
• Mods which alter devil statue might be incompatible.

IAQ: (Imaginary Asked Questions)

Q: What is the difference between this mod and others from same category?
A: RSR is focused on room expansion, balance and QoL changes. It encourages you to go in every special room, adding new room variants and reworking bad/useless rooms.

Q: It makes the gameplay easier or harder?
A: Both. There are buffs and nerfs for most rooms. Check documentation for details.

Q: Is any room removed from vanilla? Can you make a version without the changes?
A: No rooms were exactly removed. They were just replaced by other rooms, losing their original purpose. A config file for some mechanics might be added in the future.

Q: Can you make sacrifice rooms better? They are useless most of the time!
A: Sacrifice rooms will be changed after Repentance releases.

Q: I disabled the mod and challenge/boss rush waves are still custom.
A: Restart the game. The game doesn't disable wave changes correctly while playing.

Q: I played an old seed and now it's slightly different.
A: Seeds aren't stable. The mod updates regularly with room changes.

Q: Is there any zane rooms? For the memes!
A: There is, but the mod follows a serious route, so don't expect crazyness.
