Java Developer

Client                                    : Global Leader in MedSurg Equipments

Work Location                  : Gurgaon

Compensation               : Commensurate with experience

Exp. Required                :  5- 10 yrs

 

Responsibilities:

 

v  Identify new technologies, components, and development techniques to increase development efficiency

v  Divide feature requests into granular tasks and provide task time estimates

v  Review technical specifications from Tech Lead/Business Analysts for feasibility and architectural “fit”

v  Write technical documentation and specifications from requirements/functional specifications

v  Utilize source control policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of development efforts

v  Determine the appropriate SQL Server technologies and techniques to provide a wide variety of business solutions

v  Create efficient, effective, and secure solutions with the technology being utilized for a given project

v  Participate in technical reviews and meetings as required

v  Adhere to the SDLC for a given project

v  Resolve escalated technical issues as needed

v  Support Lead Developer/Tech lead in troubleshooting issues

 

Technical Skills Required:

 

J2EE skills :EJB,JSP, OOPS, Servlets, Design Patterns in Java,

Struts, Hibernate, Spring, JSF/Facelets,

JBoss, XML, HTML, CSS

ER diagramming and normalization experience, SQL Server 2005/2008 preferred,

Swing Knowledge, .Net, Strong OO design and analytical skills, exposure on atleast 1 defect tracking tool.
