Coast Guard issues waterway restriction

 

NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard is reporting a waterway restriction to all traffic from mile marker 735 to 730 on the Mississippi River near Memphis, Tenn., Friday. 

Coast Guard Sector Lower Mississippi watchstanders received a call at 7:36 p.m. reporting the towing vessel MISS DOROTHY had allided with the Harrahan Railroad Bridge.

There is a vessel en route to assist the MISS DOROTHY.

There is no reported damage, injuries, or pollution.
