Hello, first off I would like to apologize if this belongs in the "Help/Support" section. Second off, would anyone mind supplying me with a step-by-step install instructions for Forge. I feel like I should know how to do this, but when I tried, at the end, I did not have forge, just about 4-5 new random programs. (At least one of them had malware on it.) Also, would it be better to get the 1.9 or a 1.8 version for using it on ECC? Thank you in advance for your help. -Legotom001 Edit: Sorry, forgot to add theses. 1. If it helps at all, my OS is windows 10. 2. I was using this site http://files.minecraftforge.net/ (Found it on the ecc mini-map page.)
Take a look at this, it'll help: It's for Windows 10, and should apply for all Windows versions 7 and up.
Sorry to ask for help from you again, but I just got Forge installed (I had to go yesterday after I commented.) but do I need to keep the two forge folders in my downloads fold or can I delete them? In case it helps, they are labeled "Forge-1.9-12.16.0.1776-1.9-installer-win" and "Forge-1.9-12.16.0.1776-1.9-installer-win.exe". Thank you in advance, -Legotom001
