2019-2020 Just Medicine Steering Committee Application
AMSA's Just Medicine campaign is a network of passionate, dedicated student advocates fighting to reduce corporate influence in the practice of medicine! We use a variety of tactics to accomplish this goal, from advocating for lower drug prices to implementing conflict-of-interest policies to commenting on government actions. Comprised of AMSA members from across the country, JM advances the medical student voice to fight for our patients and create a healthcare system that serves their interests, not corporate powers. The campaign's steering committee is responsible for guiding the campaign, producing relevant policy documents and resources, and generally managing AMSA's commitment to achieving a healthcare system that works for all Americans!

Time commitment is at the discretion of the chairs and includes at least:
1) A monthly call (~1hr)
2) Taking point on a project throughout the year - examples might include resolution writing, to chapter outreach, to social media and website management.
