  • Building an Engaged Workforce: Aligning Employee Strengths with Organizational Goals Have you ever noticed someone excelling in their role, only to struggle after a promotion? It's like a top salesperson suddenly floundering at a desk job. This happens because we're all wired differently. Howard Gardner's theory shows that each of us has unique strengths. To perform at our best, we need tasks that match these strengths. But it's not just about tasks. The environment matters too. When people are misaligned at work, it doesn't just affect them—it affects everyone. It leads to burnout and lowers efficiency and morale for the whole team. The recent Forbes article on misalignment at work leading to burnout among employees takes an interesting deep dive into the employees' need for introspection and timely corrective action. We take a pause here to map these insights against the various pillars of an employer brand to see how the foundations can pave the way for better employee motivation and performance that is not only aligned to individuals but also to the goals of the organization. Here are some key pointers to consider: ·       Encourage Open Conversations: Create a feedback mechanism where people feel safe to share their thoughts and concerns. Let these fuel your next town hall or policy updation. ·       Build an Inclusive Culture: Where different roles within a team are celebrated and supported. Fueled by belonging and purpose. ·       Adapt to Different Work Styles: People work in different ways. Ensure policies support these differences to boost alignment and productivity. ·       Reward Meaningfully: Beyond money, instate ways to recognize and support how people contribute to the team and community. When people feel valued and aligned with their work, they perform better and stay engaged. It's a win-win for everyone. If you are looking to define these pillars and align them with the changing company goals or employee expectations, we would love to connect and explore how we can help you build an employer brand that establishes a culture where employees feel aligned. #employerbranding #employeeperformance #burnout The reference article: https://lnkd.in/dX3Mg3kM

  • For some, the days of teeming hallways have given way to a fascinating trend: coffee badging. Employees pop in, grab a latte (though briefly), chit chat with colleagues, and vanish back to their remote havens. It's an implicit resistance against rigid in-office mandates. It’s a sign our work landscape is brewing something new, a deeper yearning for flexibility and better work life balance. In fact, latest research states that 49% of employees are willing to leave their jobs to improve their work life balance! Why the Buzz?               • Flexibility FOMO: Employees miss the freedom of remote work after a taste.               • Work-Life Whiplash: Commuting chaos and office distractions disrupt the hard-won balance.               • Social Sipping: Remote work lacks the human touch, hence the quick coffee break chat. Latte or Leave It? This isn't just about caffeine. It's a symptom of a deeper disconnect. Need of the hour: Activate meaningful engagement, integration and collaboration within the office spaces. Some possible interventions: • Rebuild trust & meaning. Offer flexibility. Focus on results. Honor accountability. • Brew connections & belonging. Foster cross-team interactions. Build a sense of belonging. • Prioritize regular feedback channels. Build regular 2-way interventions and listening tools to know the buzz and respond in a timely fashion. • Lead with stories of transformations. Support career growth with advanced in-person L&D opportunities. The good thing is that coffee badging is a symptom, not a disease. We have to diagnose the needs of our employees and foster a culture where everyone feels valued, productive, and connected. So let's ditch the lukewarm coffee and brew a solution that leaves everyone with a satisfying taste of in-office successes & celebrations. Cheers! If you have a hybrid work mode, what innovative approaches are you using to make in-person work truly meaningful? #worklifebalance #futureofwork #employerbranding #culturematters

This session was super inspiring. Great work done by Kaufland based out of Romania solving the problem for #Retailhiring! “Activate to Differentiate”. All our strategy and creative means nothing if we don’t activate and differentiate. A program for recruitment rolled out for the specially abled “ACCESS PROGRAM” with over 400 people hired. To speaking to young recruits and leveraging Comic con creators to create a complete long pitch. Stellar work Estera Anghelescu, M.B.A. #worldebday Pomelo Employer Branding
