Application Questions
Please answer the following questions in no more than 400 words for each question.
Please tell us about yourself and your creative practice. (This could be in the form of an artist statement, bio, story, outlining your process, etc. whatever format gives the best representation of who you are and how your creativity shows up!)
Why does the IGNITE RURAL opportunity feel like a good fit for you and your community at this time? (Think of this as the "Why Now," "Why Here," "Why is this opportunity a good fit for me?" question. To review the goals of the program visit www.publictransformation.org/igniterural)
How might the IGNITE RURAL opportunity increase your community health and wellbeing through your artistic practice? How might the community be engaged in your work? (Please note: You do not have to have a project idea defined - we are interested in the approach or process you might take, not the project or deliverable. You will have time and support to define your project during the first month of the residency.)
Is there anything else that you would like us to know about you, your work, or your community?

Please send up to five (5) samples / examples of your work in any format to hello@publictransformation.org. Work samples may include images / photos, video / audio files, weblink to a portfolio, etc.
