For over a century, the historic downtown Chinatowns of North America have been targeted for removal and redevelopment by large public and private projects. Today, Philadelphia's Chinatown faces an existential threat from a basketball arena proposed by 76DevCorp. Please join us for this discussion with members of the Save Chinatown Coalition and preservation advocates. We will explore what it means to preserve Chinatowns and how the historic preservation field can help them survive and thrive in Philadelphia and other American cities.
