Green Menu Day: Independence
We are interested in meals that are HEALTHY, NUTRITIOUS, and ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY but we can't do it without your voice!

Hi all, as our city moves towards being more environmentally friendly with goals such as Zero Waste by 2020, we want to address another big issue that contributes to global warming: our dietary choices. Consuming food lower on the food chain uses less land, energy, water, and creates less pollution (by transportation and by animal's means of farting which release methane). We would like to start small by promoting eating plant based meals only once a week and would like your feedback to this proposal. We really appreciate your time and effort and hope you are open to trying something new to better our health and world.
